There is the wall at a public restroom,

a garage door,
a silver and brown tree trunk,

the fence around a playground,

leaded windows in a church,

or irrigated fields in West Texas.

Then I heard a mockingbird singing his spring song--how might that be interpreted in fabric!?!

Beth, You're awesome! You sure know how to look around you!
That's just wasted on a restroom wall...love your pics. Isn't it amazing where our inspiration sometimes comes from.
I like the playground fence one! Your very good at seeing whats around you!
Beth, about irrigated fields, I had make one. My inspiration was a google picture of Idaho.
It was made two years ago. Completely with silk fabrics, mainly upholstery fabrics.
I'll post a picture on Flickr.
I love the bathroom wall picture. I had done that once, and people probably thought it was weird because it was the entrance to the men's room. But the tiles were so cool looking. Also love the fence and the window!
